ABOUT HAULFACTS

A little more clarity.

HaulFacts is an independent guide to the companies and records behind U.S. freight.

Updated September 10, 2026

Public information should be easier to use.

A number on a truck. A company in a carrier packet. A record that raises another question. HaulFacts helps you find the business, read the public information, and understand what to check next.

We combine a free carrier lookup, a small selected directory, and practical field guides. You can explore everything without creating an account.

Useful context, with the source attached.

Our company information comes from public FMCSA records made available through U.S. DOT Open Data. Each profile includes its source and retrieval date. Guides explain the differences between a company registration, operating authority, safety information, and insurance.

A public record is one part of a carrier review. It cannot confirm that the person who called you represents that company, or that a particular shipment has the coverage and equipment it needs.

Independent by design.

HaulFacts is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Transportation or FMCSA. Directory inclusion is not an endorsement, and no carrier pays for placement in this release. We do not issue safety certifications or fraud scores.

Our guides are editorial resources grounded in cited sources. They have not been independently reviewed by a transportation lawyer, insurance professional, or safety auditor. Read the relevant source and seek qualified help for decisions that require it.
